My personal diary..

At last...the day has passed. The Eid day! We went to our village. Arranged a Milad Mahfil for my grandfather and grandmother there. Nice!! On the Eid day we went to the Eidgah for Eid prayer with my relatives. But the sun's heat was so hot, so that we all sweated a lot. Whatever, then we went to the graveyard to see our relatives graves. After that we returned home and had some breakfast with shemai, laccha, beef, bread etc. Then till noon I was sleeping in my room. It's strange to sleep on Eid day but I had nowhere to go. At afternoon the rain started. Me with my cousin were supposed to go out. But rain ruined everything. Luckily rain stopped and we could go out. We took the bike and traveled about 3 hours. We reached the border of Bangladesh-India. Nice experience!! We returned home with wet dress, mud in leg and bike moreover with some sweets:) Next day I had one of the most amazing experience of my life. I learned to drive a bike. At first I was afraid but I could handle it soon as I can ride on bicycle. I went to village on 20th september and returned 22nd september. Although I stayed there for only 1 day 2 nights it was funny this year. Last year when I went there it was boring there. I don't know that I'll go to village again or not for Eid, but I'll go again if I find there this kinda fun:):)

Last night while I was reading the the Star magazine I found out a nice article written by a Bangladeshi New Yorker named "A New Yorker's Ramadan". The writer wrote how Muslim people observe the Ramadan in USA. It's pretty difficult for them to fast there. Here in Bangladesh we get our schools off at the beginning of the Ramadan. But there students have to attend classes and others have to work for 8-10 hours but here service holders have to work for 6/7 hours. They don't have escape from their work during the month of Ramadan.
They even don't have the wake up call for Sehri by siren. But we hear the sound of the siren and also hear the lovely sound of  azaan. Here we are surrounded by mosques and hear the sound of the azaan 24/7. They use an Islamic calendar to find out the time of the prayer. Americans of other religion think that it's totally difficult to fast long a month. But it's possible as we are used to.
Whatever Ramadan in Bangladesh and other Muslim country is quite different from other non-muslim country. I hope I'll not have this kinda Ramadan in future. But every is up to the Almighty. He knows better.

Oh!! It's morning now..good morning. I woke up at 4.30 am and after Sehri I usually say my Fazar prayer and go to sleep again. But this morning it's somewhat different. I'm just looking at the sky. Everything was dark..then after it all began to change. First red then the sky was cleared. I'm feeling fresh and started my PC. But every morning I sleep this time:)

Birds are chirping outside, the old shopkeeper of the grocery shop has opened his shop after cleaning the shop. My neighbours are all sleeping maybe. My mom is onto her work and my dad and my younger brother are still sleeping. As my house is beside the highway I can hear the big buses and trucks are heading towards the Indian border. Some people are awake, ricksaw pullers have started pulling ricksaws. Some people are coming out of the mosque, some are going to morning walk. After an hour it'll be changed. A lot of people will be on the road. Lot of vehicles also. But the beauty of  the dawn will never be changed!!

One of my favorite singers is Arnob. I'm listening to his songs from 2007. First album of his which I listened was "Jhalmuri". Though it was a mixed album I liked his song "Chad Dekhe". Next was the album "Doob". And the latest "Arnob & Friends". I bought this album a few days ago. I'm really amazed listening to all the songs. I've listened the album at least 10 times. I like all the 12 songs but among them- "Amay Dhore Rakho, Lalpahari, Amay Bhashalire, Hokkolorob, Tomar Jonno, Bhalobasa Tarpor, Piya Ki Nazariya & Hariye Giyechi" are best to me. His all songs are adapted from his world tour 2008 where he went to USA, UK & Canada for fund raising of a Bangladeshi social organization Drishtipat.
In this album Arnob's friends are Andrew, Nazia, Shahnaz, Resalat (Dhrubo), Jibon & Nazrul. I wish he will surprise us always with his all this amazing songs.

Waw! It's raining here since last 3 days. I'm staying at home and having fun with my stuffs!! I wish I could drench in the rain. But there is 100% chance of getting cold. So I'm just watching the scenery and taking photos..excellent! I've also posted my self taken picture of the rain:)

Hm, I didn't want to go market for eid shopping. But I had to go because of parents. Whatever at last me & my younger brother had a set of dress!! We both got a new shirt & a new pant. I hope I'll wear these if I stay here in my town for eid. Or if we go to our village house...no way!!
